Tracking

Real-time tracking during the competition : During the WRSC the organisation will provide one GPS/GPRS tracking device for each boat. This tracking solution is supported by ENSTA Bretagne and allows the real time visualization of the position of each boat on a webpage. It also allows replays of different races. ENSTA Bretagne (ex ENSIETA) will organize in Brest, in the beginning of September 2013, the WRSC (World Robotic Sailing Championship) and IRSC (International Robotic Sailing Conference), an international and annual marine robotics competition and conference. Originally designed for autonomous sailboats, the competition will be opened this year also to motorboats and will propose tasks such as station, speed in different conditions, accuracy, obstacle avoidance, target tracking, endurance, cooperation…
